You know how some places just have a certain feeling? A soul you can't quite put your finger on? For me, living here in Pune, Mulshi has always had two, each one pulling me back for different reasons.

The first is the Mulshi you meet on a bright, clear day. I love this version. It's all about that brilliant shock of color - the deep sapphire of the lake against the emerald green of the hills. It’s a landscape that breathes peace. The air feels clean, the world feels vast, and everything just seems to slow down. I find it’s a day for just being quiet, for finding a patch of grass and finally hearing your own thoughts again.

But then there's its other soul, the one we're all seeing right now in the heart of the monsoon. And oh, this one is wild.

This Mulshi is all about drama and energy. The whole landscape feels electric, wrapped in a soft grey mist that moves and shifts with the wind. The best part is the waterfalls. After a good rain, they appear everywhere, like silver threads running down the dark green hills. The smell of the wet earth, the roar of a dozen new streams… it’s a powerful, beautiful reminder that nature is in charge, washing everything clean.

So when you think of going, know that Mulshi will give you whatever you're looking for. It can be your calm, or it can be your storm. It just seems to know what your soul needs on any given day.

To feel this magic isn't hard. And that's the best part.
